Each year, the evening is associated with a different country as well as a rose, the favorite flower of Princess Grace. This year also celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Societe des Bains de Mer, the oldest gaming and luxury tourism company in Monaco. For the special event, the Fondation Princesse Grace president Princess Caroline of Hanover gave the direction of the occasion over to friend/designer Karl Lagerfeld. Music for the evening include violins of Prague Philharmonic as well as performances by Rita Ora, Theophilus London, and a DJ set by Caroline de Maigret.
