MILAN - When a Prada collection is in the picture, FashionTV knows to expect something truly breathtaking and chic. This Spring/Summer 2012 season at Milan Fashion Week is no exception. Backstage at Prada, Makeup Artist Pat McGrath says there's a little bit of rebellion in the makeup look at the show, but overall, "It's a very simple look on the girls," she says. The look includes black eyeliner and paired down foundation on the face and everybody's eyebrows are bleached and re-colored to a mink gray. "I think they always choose the makeup to represent the clothes," adds model Caterina Ravaglia. The hair is "a little bit dark, a little bit trashy," says Hairstylist Guido Palau. "Inspired by a girl in a David Lynch movie," he continues. The hair is sort of curled badly. "She's definitely a Prada woman," he says. Bandeau tops and unique Prada-style print jackets were the de rigour at this show. "She always tries to do something nobody else does," agrees Italian Vogue Editor-In-Chief Franca Sozzani. "It brought back the optimism of the 50s," says W Magazine's Editor-In-Chief Stefano Tonchi.
